I think it's safe to conclude that there's still much room for improvement with our current online translation websites. Blogoscoped.com tested this by translating Jon and Garfield's dialoges in Babelfish to Chinese, and then back to English.

The results as you can see below, are amusing and nonsensical, some even funnier than Jim Davis' original strips.

I learned of this awesome site called Zoho.com from TJ. It's basically an online office suite that you can share around with. Pretty neat, huh? Here are some of the decks I've made/collaborated with beginning last year. Enjoy.

Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.

As I stood in front of the door, I sighed a deep breath, and called out my reservation. A million thoughts went through my mind. Unfortunately, one particular thought did not.

Next thing you know, it happened. A satisfying meal later, a few shots, some smiles, and you realize you just traded everything you hold dear for, well – a satisfying meal, a few shots, and some smiles.

Now, that was how the day went. To be honest, it didn't go great. But life has plenty of good parts; it's the rough parts that make you thankful you have people to share it with.

Again, looking back, now I remember that particular thought.

Let's face it - bad food is made without a hint of pride nor affection, by people who have no pride, and of no love. Bad food is made by people who are indifferent, or who are trying to be everything to everybody, who are trying to please themselves.

Bad food is fake food. Food that shows fear and lack of confidence in one's ability to discern or to make decisions about their lives. Food that's too safe, too pasteurized, too healthy - it sickens me.

There should be some risk, like unpasteurized cheese. Food sometimes is about fermentation, maturity... as much as it is also about freshness.
